Illogical, and self-centred and hateful
You just forgive them anyway

If you are kind to people
People may accuse you of being selfish; having ulterior motives
You be kind to people anyway

If you are successful in your life
You will win some false friends, and some true enemies
You succeed in life anyway

If you are honest with people
People may tray to cheat you
You be honest with people anyway

What you spend building in your life
Someone could destroy overnight easy
You just keep building it anyway

If you find serenity, happiness and hope
They may be very jealous of you
You be happy and keep your serenity
and your hope anyway

The good you do today for some people
People will often forget tomorrow the things you do
You always do good for people anyway

If you give the world the best you have always
And it may never be enough for them
You give the world the best you have anyway

You see in the final analysis
It is between you and your creator
It never was between you and them anyway
